What exactly is Kami you ask? Kami is beautiful, that's what it is. I had been searching for a way to have my students use technology to complete practice handouts and deep read articles. Many teachers at my site use DocHub, but it had posed me some challenges at the beginning. I began using Kami with my ELD1 and ELD2 students and found it easy for me and my students to navigate. Kami also connects with your Google Drive account, so all the documents are saved easily. Check out the YouTube video below to see a screencast of how to use the Kami website.

How to Sign in and load a document into Kami.
How to save a new Kami document to your Google Drive. 1. Click the "save" icon in the top right of the screen. 2. Under the "Google Drive" click save a new copy. 3. Wait for it to save. Note: the kami site will come back up after the document saves into your drive. To check if the document saved: 1. Go into your Google Drive. 2. Search "Kami Uploads" 3. You should see a folder with the upload. 4. If you are not seeing the document as a PDF, search "Kami" and you should find your PDF. 5. Sign out of Kami. Student Samples.
