I know I posted about blended learning before, but I wanted to share the different types of blended learning. I think we can all agree that we know that blended learning is a blend of traditional classroom teachings and technology integration, but there are different ways this can be done. We can just include a warm up question, or exit ticket, or partner activity, or video to a lesson and call that blended learning. Or, we can go deeper and use specific blended learning strategies to effectively incorporate blended learning in the classroom. Here is an infographic that shows the different types of blended learning styles. I've tried station rotations in my classroom and it has worked very well. Students were assigned starting groups then had a schedule of where they were to go next. Since some groups were recording a podcast, the class needed to be fairly silent. The schedules helped them rotate to different areas on their own with little guidance.
It also helped having a large classroom to use. Here are a few pictures of the stations and rotating schedules.
